February is one of the best months to visit Walt Disney World in Florida! The weather is mild, the lines are relatively short, and there are usually some pretty good deals to be had.
In fact, right now you can get two days at Disney World for free when you purchase 4 night/3 day package! You can get a free, no obligation quote for this deal here, or you can get more information from my friends at Get Away Today here.
With that said, there are a few things to consider if you plan to visit Disney World in February.

Disney World Crowd Sizes in February
The crowds in February are among the lowest of the year, which is why it is a great time to visit.
Generally, the weekends will be a little busier than weekdays, but the crowds are still manageable.
With crowd levels at Disney World capped at 35% currently, things are very different from crowds in the past.
Ride queues tend to look long, but this is because of social distancing. I recently compared listed wait times in the My Disney Experience App with actual wait times at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You can check out the results here.

Average Weather at Disney World in February
The weather is actually really pleasant at Disney World in February. The average high temperatures are in the mid 70s and the lows are in the mid 50s.
You can pretty much always expect a little rain in Central Florida, but February seems to be pretty mild when it comes to rain fall.
The monthly weather forecast for Orlando in February calls for sunny and partly cloudy days with a few days of light rain mixed in.

What to Pack for Disney World in February
Knowing what to pack for a trip in February to Disney World is important.
You don’t want to be unprepared and end up having to use your vacation budget on things that could have easily been brought from home with a little planning.
Here are a few things you might want to consider packing if you’ll be traveling to Disney World in February.
Pack an Umbrella, Poncho, and Stroller Protection
The weather at Disney World can be pretty unpredictable. Rain storms can form and dissipate quickly.
I did this when my son was in a stroller and it was a life saver!
Pack Sun Protection
The Florida sun can be brutal, even in the winter months. Be ready for the UV rays by packing some sunscreen and a hat.
Also make sure your kids are protected too. Nothing ruins a magical vacation like a sun burn!
Pack Face Masks
Face masks are a requirement at Disney World parks and resorts right now. After experimenting with different styles and fabrics, I have found that the masks sold by ShopDisney are my favorite.
But you have to make sure to get the newer fabric. It is much lighter and softer! You can purchase masks at the part for $9.99 each or plan ahead and order from www.shopdisney.com.
The masks below are what I ordered for our last trip. My husband wears and XL and my 13-year-old and I wear a Large.
While I love the masks from Disney, I also found it helpful to bring along a pack of disposable masks. It came in handy to have a few extra in our backpack just in case.
I ordered these masks from Amazon and they were a great back up!
Pack a Travel Blanket
It’s a good idea to bring a travel blanket with you to Disney World in February. Not only will it keep you warm on those chilly February nights, but it can also serve another purpose.
A small blanket can be great to sit on while watching a parade or fireworks show!
Pack for both Warm and Cold Weather
The mornings and evenings at Disney World can be pretty chilly, but the days will be warm. This makes packing clothing for a trip in February a little tricky.
I recommend packing jeans or long pants to stay warm and comfortable during the cooler temperatures.
Wear a short-sleeved top bring a lightweight jacket or sweater that can be kept in a backpack or worn around your waist during the way.
Pack Adorable Disney-Themed Apparel
Before any Disney vacation, I like to check out Jane.com for adorable and affordable Disney vacation t-shirts!
I have found so many cute shirts for only $13.99! The deals change daily though, so make sure to check back often or follow me on Instagram to keep up with all of the amazing Disney-themed merchandise.
