Disneyland ticket prices have historically increased each year, but this year it seems to sting a little bit more.

Not only are we experiencing soaring prices all over the place, but Disney is also increasing the price of their new Genie+ Service.

Below, I will show you how you can get the old prices and save up to $90 per ticket, but you have to act fast!

Get Away Today Disneyland Ticket Sale

Disneyland ticket and Genie+ prices were raised this morning, but you can still get the old prices on tickets and Disney’s Genie+ with my partner, Get Away Today!

By buying with them now, you can save an extra $32 to $90 per ticket! Here are the details so you don’t miss out:

• Save up to $80 over gate prices by booking your Disneyland tickets with Get Away Today by October 20, 2022 – but don’t wait! If you know you’re going to go to Disneyland between now and January 12, 2024, get your tickets now. You don’t want to miss the cut-off.

• If you’ve already paid in-full for your tickets, you’ve already received the lowest price!

• If you already have tickets and want to upgrade your tickets to include Genie+, you can do it now! You’ll have to make new theme park reservations, so just make sure your dates are still available before calling Get Away Today to make the change.

• If you don’t know when you’re going, you’ll just need to enter a general date to purchase your tickets. The date that you enter will be the date that Get Away Today sends your reminders to make theme park reservations, which are required. The date you enter is not tied to a theme park reservation and the dates you choose are flexible.

Disneyland Genie+ Price Increase

Along with the increase in ticket prices, the cost of Genie+ has gone up as well. The pricing structure has also changed.

The previous price for Genie+ at Disneyland was $20 per day. The price has now increased to $25 per person per day, if purchased ahead, and a variable price depending on the day and demand, if purchased day of. Read more about Genie+ here.

How Much is Genie+ at Disneyland

Here is the explanation from Disney:

Disney Genie+ service continues to be very popular among our guests. As we continue to manage the strong demand we are seeing for this service, we are introducing variable pricing for Disney Genie+, beginning Tuesday, Oct. 11.

At Disneyland Resort, Disney Genie+ will now be $25 per day when purchased in advance as an add-on with a new ticket or vacation packages. Single-day purchases for Disney Genie+ through the Disneyland app will begin at $25 per day, and may vary by date, based on demand.

Additionally, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure at Disney’s California Adventure Park is now part of Disney Genie+, providing guests with even more options to choose from when using this service.

At Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Genie+ will also vary in price based on the date a guest is visiting. Similar to theme park tickets, throughout the year, prices may be lower on less busy days and higher during peak periods like Thanksgiving and Christmas. For example, now through the end of October, prices will be $15 per Guest, per day on less busy dates, $22 on some of our busier dates, and somewhere in between on other dates (plus tax; prices subject to change beyond October). As a reminder, single-day purchases of Disney Genie+ at Walt Disney World Resort are only available directly through the My Disney Experience app on the guest’s date of visit.

Disneyland Ticket Price Increase FAQ’s

How much will I save by booking by October 20th?

That will depend on the type and length of the tickets you choose. 2-Day tickets are a $32/ticket savings, 3-Day tickets are a $35/ticket savings, 4-Day tickets are a $40/ticket savings, while 5-Day tickets are $55/ticket savings. With Disney Genie+ included, you can save up to $90 per ticket!

How long are the Get Away Today tickets valid?

Get Away Today‘s tickets are valid for travel now – January 12, 2024.

Do I have to know my travel dates?

If you don’t know when you’re going, you’ll just need to enter a general date to purchase your tickets. That will be the date that Get Away Today sends your reminders to make theme park reservations as early as 120 days prior to travel. Dates are flexible and can be rescheduled.

Can I put these on a Layaway Plan?

Because tickets must be pain in full by October 20, Layaway Plans are temporarily unavailable.

What if I’ve already purchased Disneyland Resort tickets?

If you’ve already purchased your tickets and paid in full, you already have the lowest price!

Can I upgrade my tickets to include more days or Disney Genie+

You can add more park days or include Disney Genie+ by calling 855-GET-AWAY. You will need to make new theme park reservations if you choose to upgrade your tickets, so you’ll want to check Disneyland’s reservation calendar before upgrading your tickets.

What if I have an active Layaway Plan?

In order to keep your current ticket prices, your Layaway Plan must be paid off in its entirety by October 20, 2022. If you don’t contact Get Away Today by October 20, 2022 to pay off your Layaway Plan, they will keep everything in your package as is and your price will automatically reflect the new pricing – no need to call.

What if I need to cancel?

Get Away Today offers 365-day refundable Disneyland tickets. They understand that things come up and allow refunds for a fee and reschedules within the same year at no additional cost.

How to Get a Discount Disneyland Vacation Package

To get the most bang for your buck with this Disneyland ticket sale, you’ll want to book your discount tickets in a vacation package that includes at least a 2-night hotel stay.
