Laundry

Having a washer and dryer right in the room was AMAZING! I did a load of laundry almost every day. This way we were able to just pack carryon luggage and avoid the chance of losing checked luggage.

Disney’s Old Key West Resort Review

Disney’s Old Key West Resort is a great option for those looking to stay near Disney Springs. The resort offers spacious villas, plenty of amenities and activities, as well as easy transportation to all four theme parks.

What We Loved

We found it was great for families because we were able to spread out and not be on top of each other while relaxing in our room. We took an afternoon break each day to escape the heat and this perk was invaluable.

Having a washer and dryer right in our room was also one of the greatest things ever! I have seriously considered joining the Disney Vacation Club just so I can always have access to laundry right in my room!

The pool was amazing and the waterslide was a huge plus! We also loved the basketball court and jogging trail, which were great for staying active while on vacation.

What We Didn’t Love

The only negative we can think of is that the resort is spread out and it can be a bit of a hike to get to the Hospitality House, depending on your room location. You are able to catch the bus and ride it to get within the resorts bus stops, which was nice.

Our room was located near Turtle Pond and we found it easier to walk to the Hospitality House and pool. This walk took us about 12 minute walk.
