Ingredients for Woody’s Lunchbox Grilled Cheese

• Softened Cream Cheese: Adds a rich, creamy texture and helps create a deliciously gooey filling. You can substitute with mascarpone cheese for a similar texture.
• Shredded Cheddar Cheese: Provides that classic cheesy flavor and sharpness. Feel free to use any cheese you love, like Monterey Jack or a cheese blend.
• Heavy Cream: Helps create a smooth and creamy mixture for the cheese filling. You can use half-and-half as a lighter alternative.
• Salt: Enhances the overall flavor of the sandwich. Just be careful not to overdo it, especially if using salted butter or cheese.
• Mayonnaise: Adds moisture and richness to the filling and helps with browning the bread. You can substitute with Greek yogurt for a healthier twist.
• Minced Garlic: Infuses a wonderful savory flavor into the cheese mix. If you’re short on fresh garlic, garlic powder will work too.
• Sliced Bread: The base of the sandwich; choose your favorite type, whether it’s white, whole wheat, or sourdough.

How to Make a Toy Story Land Grilled Cheese

[Step 1] Cream Cheese Spread: Mix together the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, heavy cream and salt. Set aside. I used a small food processor and it worked great

[Step 2] Garlic Spread: In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, garlic, and salt with a small whisk. Set aside

[Step 3] Begin by spreading one side of each slice of bread with the mayonnaise spread.

[Step 4] To layer the sandwich, place four pieces of bread, mayonnaise side down, on a preheated electric griddle (medium heat).

[Step 5] Place two slices of provolone cheese on the bread.

[Step 6] Use a knife or spatula to spread the cream cheese mixture over the provolone.

[Step 7] Top with two slices of cheddar cheese. (I used shredded cheddar cheese)

[Step 8] Place another slice of bread on top of the cheddar, mayonnaise side up.

[Step 9] When the bottom slice of bread is golden brown, carefully flip the sandwich over and continue grilling the other side.

[Step 10] Enjoy your Toy Story Land Grilled Cheese Sandwich with a side of tater tots or tomato soup!
