About Disney Churro Bites
Disney Parks has done it again! Not only have they released the recipe for their famous Dole Whip, but now you can make your own Disney Churro Bites right at home!
I love a good Disneyland Churro, and already have a yummy recipe for them here on this site. Churros are such a great snack/dessert, because you can change them up and add flavors to make them different every time you eat them.
Try adding some colored sugar to make your own Lightsaber Churros or add some cookie crumbs to make Cookie Butter Christmas Churros.
Disney's original recipe recipe changes them up into bite-sized portions. My kids loved them!
Where to Get Churro Bites at Walt Disney World
The first time we had Disney Churro Bites was at Disney World. They are available at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe which is located in Frontierland at Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
At Pecos Bill’s the mini churros are served with chocolate sauce and let me tell you, the combination tastes like heaven. When we made our own churro bites, we had to add our own chocolate dipping sauce as well. You can use a jar of hot fudge sold at the grocery store with ice cream toppings, or you can make your own chocolate ganache in the microwave, using this recipe!
This recipe makes a lot of mini churros! We had more than enough for the five of us and even had some leftovers. I hope they can bring a little taste of Disney magic to your home.

*Ingredient amounts are located in the recipe card at the end of this post.
- Water, the base of our churro dough adventure.
- Butter, adding richness for that authentic Disney Parks flavor.
- Salt & Cinnamon, the dynamic duo that introduces the magical zest.
- All-Purpose Flour, the foundation that shapes our beloved Disneyland Churros.
- Eggs, to bind our dough with a whisk of fairy dust.
- Oil, Sugar, to fry and coat our churros bites, making them irresistible.
- Hot Fudge or Chocolate Ganache, for dipping, brings us closer to the original recipe enjoyed at the theme park.
How to Make Disney Parks Churro Bites
[Step 1] In a medium sauce pan, use a whisk to combine water, butter, salt, and ¼ teaspoon cinnamon. Bring to a rolling boil.
[Step 2] Reduce the heat to low and add the flour. Use a silicone spatula to Stir until it forms a ball. Let the dough rest for about 7 minutes.
[Step 3] Stir in the eggs, one at a time. (I used my food processor for this step and it worked like a champ!)
[Step 4] Heat oil to 350 degrees. While the oil is heating, add spoon dough into a large piping bag or plastic bag with a large star tip. When the hot oil has reached 350 degrees, pipe the churro batter into the oil and use a knife to cut it off when it is about 2 inches long.
[Step 5] Fry churro bites for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown. Use a slotted spoon to remove the churros from the oil, and drain churro bites on a paper towel.
[Step 6] Add the sugar and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon to a bowl and mix together. Place 2 or 3 churro bites to the bowl and cover with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
[Step 7] Serve with hot fudge, chocolate ganache, or your favorite dipping sauce.

How to Store Leftovers
To store leftover Disney churro bites, let them cool completely before placing them in an airtight container. They’ll stay fresh at room temperature for about 1-2 days. If you want to keep them longer, you can store them in the fridge for up to 4-5 days.
When it’s time to reheat, pop them in the microwave for a few seconds or warm them in the oven at 350°F for about 5-10 minutes to get them crispy again. You can also dust them with a little extra cinnamon sugar for that freshly made flavor!
