Sweet Cream Cheese Syrup and Glaze

An easy cream cheese syrup made with only four ingredients that is perfect to drizzle over pancakes and waffles. It is also amazing as a cream cheese glaze on your favorite dessert!

I love cream cheese. I am kind of obsessed with it. Cream cheese just seems to make everything better.

When I made some Red Velvet Cake Mix Waffles, I knew that I needed to come up with a way to top them with cream cheese. Red Velvet and cream cheese  go together like peanut butter and jelly.

I have the most perfect cream cheese frosting recipe that I make all of the time, but wanted something more like syrup to top pancakes, French toast, and waffles with. 

That’s how this recipe for Sweet Cream Cheese Syrup was born.

It is the perfect consistency to drizzle over breakfast items and is a great alternative to classic maple syrup, especially if you want to add a little tanginess to your sweet treat.

There are only four ingredients and it comes together so quickly, you will be enjoying your morning meal in no time.

What Goes Well with Sweet Cream Cheese Syrup

Like I said, this syrup is perfect to pour over the top of any sweet breakfast item. Here are some ideas:

  • Cream Cheese, softened
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Milk
  • Vanilla Extract

How to Make Sweet Cream Cheese Syrup

  • Also add the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Blend or mix together.

  • Use a spatula to scrape down the sides of the bowl  with a spatula to make sure you get all of the cream cheese mixed in. Blend again until smooth.

Sweet Cream Cheese Syrup

Yield: 1 Cup
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes

An easy cream cheese glaze made with only four ingredients that is perfect to drizzle over pancakes and waffles. It is also amazing as a cream cheese glaze on your favorite dessert!

Ingredients

  • 4 Ounces Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Milk
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Add the softened cream cheese to a mixing bowl, stand mixer, blender, or food processor.
  2. Also add the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Blend or mix together.
  3. Use a spatula to scrape down the sides of the bowl  with a spatula to make sure you get all of the cream cheese mixed in. Blend again until smooth.
  4. Drizzle over your favorite breakfast or dessert items!

Can you save leftovers? If so, do you just place in the fridge and microwave to make it syrupy again?
