Disney Wish Restaurants & Food Review
Dining on a cruise is one of the most anticipated experiences, and after sailing on all five Disney Cruise ships, the Disney Wish definitely lives up to the hype. My family recently embarked on a back to back cruise on the Disney Wish and had the opportunity to experience each of the restaurants twice.
In this article I will share with you what we ate at 1923, Worlds of Marvel, and Arendelle, as well as show you what was available at Marceline Market, Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods, and room service.
If you’re planning to sail on the Disney Wish, be sure to check out our Disney Wish Back to Back experience here and don’t miss my best Disney Cruise tips!

Disney Wish Restaurants Rotational Dining Experience
One aspect that sets Disney Cruise Line apart from other cruise lines is their unique rotational dining. This means that each night, guests will rotate to different restaurant for dinner while keeping the same tablemates and servers. This allows guests to experience all of the main dining restaurants on board and creates a more personalized dining experience.
A Note or Ordering on a Disney Cruise
The great thing about a Disney Cruise is that all of your food is paid for (with a few exceptions like Palo, Remy, Enchante, Bars, and Cove Cafe) so feel free to order what you want at dinner.
If you want two appetizers, order two! You can even order multiple entrees and desserts as well! Also, if there is something that you don’t like, don’t hesitate to let your server know and order something else. They are there to help you have an amazing dining experience!
Worlds of Marvel
Worlds of Marvels was the first of the Disney Wish restaurants that we visited. At World of Marvel, get ready to be transported to a superhero’s paradise and a Marvel cinematic universe. The restaurant is decked out in vibrant colors, comic book patterns, and even has life-size statues of some of your favorite Marvel characters giving you the immersive experience that Disney is known for.
Also at Worlds of Marvel, not only do you get a delicious dinner, but you get a show as well! During certain times, the lights will dim and Ant-Man and the Wasp will appear on the giant screens to interact with diners.
At some seatings, you may even get a visit from Spider-Man! This was the case on the 3-Night portion of our back to back cruise, but he did not come on the 4-Night cruise.

1923 – Walt Disney or Roy Disney
This Restaurant is the most “fancy” of the three main dining rooms on the Disney Wish. It is named after the year that Walt Disney and his brother Roy founded the Walt Disney Company. This restaurant celebrates the legacy of these two visionaries and their dedication to creating magical experiences for all ages.
The ambiance of 1923 is elegant yet playful, with nods to classic Disney characters and stories throughout the decor. The menu features modern twists on traditional dishes, showcasing locally sourced ingredients and innovative flavors.
Guests dining at 1923 can expect exceptional service, delicious food, and a truly magical experience that captures the spirit of Walt and Roy Disney. The restaurant is divided into two sides – Roy Disney and Walt Disney. The distinction on which side you go to will be noted in your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App or your wait staff will let you know.

Mickey’s Festival of Foods Menu
On Deck 11 Aft (pool deck), you will find Mickey’s Festival of Foods, which is the Wish’s version of a food court. This is a collection of quick service locations that provide everything from pizza to barbecue and ice cream cones. Below are some of the things we ate at Mickey’s Festival of Foods.
Goofy’s Grill

- Grilled Bratwurst: Caraway Riesling Sauerkraut, soft pretzel bun

Mickey’s Smokestack Barbecue
We tried Mickey’s BBQ for lunch one day on our cruise. The Brisket is absolutely amazing and I loved the Macaroni & Cheese. Here is Mickey’s Smokestack Barbecue menu:
- BBQ Smoked Brisket
- St. Louis Pork Ribs
- Smoked Chicken
- BBQ Smoked Pulled Pork
- Smoked Kielbasa Sausage
- Sides: Baked Macaroni & Cheese, Collard Greens, Sweet Potato Fries, Texas Jalapeno Corn Bread
Daisy’s Pizza Pies
My kids loved the pizza from Daisy’s. I wasn’t a huge fan, but I’m pretty picky when it comes to pizza. Here is Daisy’s Pizza Pies menu:
- Prosciutto Pizza: San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Prosciutto, Mozzarella, Parmesan, Balsamic Dressed Arugula
- Four Cheese Pizza: San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Gorgonzola, Mozzarella, Parmesan, Stracchino

Donald’s Cantina
After our first day at Castaway Cay, we ate at Donald’s Cantina. My husband had a burrito and I had a burrito bowl. It was great! I especially liked the many different choices at the salsa bar. I do wish they had nachos though. Here is Donald’s Cantina menu:
- Build Your Own Burritos, Tacos, Bowls: Filled with your choice of seasoned beef, chicken, pork carnitas, rice, beans, or fajita vegetables, topped with guacamole, salsa, sour cream, queso fresco or Mexican cheese blend
Sweet Minnie’s Ice Cream
Minnie’s Ice Cream is different from the ice cream stations on the other Disney Ships because it is not self-serve. I actually liked this better because it was not as messy. You wait in line and tell a crew member what flavor of ice cream cone you want and they get it for you. Here are some of the flavors available
- Vanilla
- Chocolate (Tastes like a Wendy’s Frosty!)
- Chocolate & Vanilla Twist
- Banana
- Strawberry
- Strawberry & Banana Twist
- Blueberry
- Mango
- Mango & Blueberry Twist
The Bayou
The Bayou is a bar and lounge inspired by the Louisiana bayou and New Orleans’ rich culture. The Bayou was located on Deck 3 Mid-Ship. This was a great place to relax and listen to some music in the evening.
Along with an assortment of alcoholic beverages, The Bayou is where you can order Beignets from Mama Odie’s Kitchen. My husband and I ordered two beignets to try. They were good, but definitely not like an authentic beignet from New Orleans.
Here are the prices for beignets:
- One Beignet $1.75
- Two Beignets $2.75
- Three Beignets $3.50
- Mama’s Special: 3 Beignets & Ethel M Chocolate $19.50
Joyful Sweets
This is an Inside Out-themed candy shop on Deck 11 near Marceline Market. Here you will find a wide assortment of sweet treats like cupcakes, chocolate dipped marshmallows, macarons, and gelato.
My son and I visited Joyful Sweets and each got a Halloween-themed macaron.
Disney Wish Room Service Menu
The great thing about a Disney Cruise is that room service is included! Almost everything (excluding cans of soda and a few other items that are an extra charge) are free to order, this includes Mickey ice cream bars! It is customary to tip the room service delivery cast member though. I usually tip $1.00 – $2.00 per item ordered. Here is the Disney Wish room service menu on the Disney Wish:
Appetizers, Soups and Salad
- All Hands on Deck: A special selection of international cheeses served with crackers featuring Mini Babybel Snack Cheese. (My review: We order this on every cruise! It is a great to snack on while watching a movie in our room.)

- Arugula and Romaine Lettuce Salad: With Yellow and Red Grape Tomatoes, Bocconcini, Balsamic Dressing

All-American Fare
- Buffalo Chicken Wings: With Celery and Carrots. Choice of Blue Cheese or Ranch Dip.

Disney Wish Breakfast Room Service Menu
You can have breakfast delivered right to your room through the breakfast room service menu. In order to do this, you will need to fill out the card/menu located in the desk drawer in your state room. You will check next to each of the items you want and also choose a delivery time (between 5:00 am and 9:30 am), then place it on your room doorknob before 3:00 am. (However, this is not available on disembarkation day).
We ordered room service breakfast on two different days during our back to back cruise and it was so nice to enjoy breakfast on our verandah. It was also very convenient on days we had excursions booked. This way we avoided the crowds at Marceline Market. Here is the breakfast room service menu:
Continental Breakfast
- Juices: Orange, Apple, Grapefruit
- Breads & Pastries: Fresh Fruit Bowl, Danish Pastries, Assortment of Muffins, Croissants, Doughnuts, White Toast, Whole Wheat Toast, English Muffins, Bagel

- Beverages: Low Fat Milk, Whole Milk, Skim Milk, Chocolate Milk, Regular Coffee, Decaffeinated Coffee, Selection of Teas, Hot Chocolate
- Condiments: Selection of Jams and Honey, Margarine, Butter, Cream Cheese
Cookies Too BBQ on Disney’s Castaway Cay Island
A barbecue lunch is included on the day you visit Castaway Cay. Here are the items that are available for the lunch buffet. My recommendation for dessert is to put ice cream in a cup with a broken up chocolate chip cookie. It’s delicious!
- Potato Chips
- Fresh Fruit
- Salads: Coleslaw, Macaroni Salad, Bean Salad
- Hot Dogs
- Cheeseburgers
- BBQ Chicken
- Ribs
- Baked Beans
- Corn on the Cob
- Sweet Breads: Cornbread muffins, banana bread, and brownies
- Dessert: Chocolate Chip Cookies and Soft-Serve Ice Cream
My Disney Wish Food Review
Overall, I was extremely impressed with the food options and world-class cuisine from the Disney Wish restaurants. The variety of restaurants and menu items catered to all tastes and dietary restrictions. My personal favorites were the beignets from Mama Odie’s Kitchen and the cream of tomato soup from the room service menu. And let’s not forget about the Mickey ice cream bars!
I also appreciated that there were lighter options available, such as the grilled salmon salad and plant-based chicken sandwich. It’s nice to have a balance of indulgent treats and nutritious meals while on vacation.
One tip I would give is to try new foods! Don’t be afraid to order something you’ve never had before or visit a restaurant that serves cuisine you wouldn’t typically choose. You may discover new favorites and it adds to the overall experience of trying new things on your Disney Wish cruise. Happy dining!
