Southern California is probably my family’s top vacation destination. We visit constantly. Mostly because it is within driving distance for us, and there is so much to do!
I am always looking for nice, quality, hotels to stay on our visits that are also affordable.
So when we had to chance to stay at Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel, I knew we couldn’t pass it up.

Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel is a full-service convention hotel located right next to Knott’s Berry Farm theme park.
With 320 guest rooms and an entire Snoopy-themed wing, there is something for everyone and every family.
If you are a large family or are traveling with multiple families, you can connect 3 rooms together to accommodate up to 12 guests!

Camp Snoopy Two Queen
The Camp Snoopy rooms at Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel are adorable! Your kids will love all of the decorations and extra touches in these rooms.
Another perk of choosing a Camp Snoopy room is that Snoopy himself will stop by to tuck in your kids each night and you will receive two Snoopy plush toys to take home with you. Talk about a fun experience for your family!

Single King Room
I love that the single king room at Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel includes a sleeper chair! This would be the perfect room for a young family of three.
My boys used to love being able to “transform” furniture into a bed, and I loved having a large king size bed!

Standard Queen
The standard queen room at Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel is a great option for up to four people.

Oversized Two Queen Room
As a family of 5, the oversized two queen room is what worked for us. This room can sleep up to six guests and is so spacious!
We brought our Nintendo game system with us and my boys had plenty of room to bounce around during our down time.

Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel Amenities
Staying at a full-service definitely has some advantages. The amenities offered at Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel are amazing!
Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel Pool, Spa & Splash Pad
Although we visited Buena Park, California in December, we still took advantage of the pool area.
The swimming pools is very large and was not overcrowded. My kids had a great time swimming around.
Another thing that they loved was the splash pad. It was a blast watching them run through the spraying water and splashing each other.
There are plenty of chairs to lounge around in the sun as well. It was easy for me to rest in the chairs while still being able to supervise them while they were playing.
Basketball & Tennis Court at Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel
My 12-year-old was most excited for the lighted basketball court at Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel. He even brought his basketball with us all the way from Utah!
Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel Fitness Center
The fitness center at Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel is larger than most hotels I’ve stayed at.
There are more than enough cardio machines to accommodate hotel guests including treadmills and elliptical machines.
There are quite a few weight lifting machines as well, but I loved that they also had a large variety of free weights!
It makes it really easy to burn off all of the calories consumed at the park during the day.
Guest Laundry Room
If you have traveled with kids at all, you know that they are messy. It doesn’t matter if I pack extra clothes or not, we always need something washed.
I love that Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel offers washers and dryers for guests to use.
I usually pack a couple of Tide Pods and a couple of dryer sheets so I’ll be ready for the inevitable!
Complimentary (Free) Shuttle to Disneyland
If a visit to Disneyland is on your agenda, Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel offers you a complimentary ride two and from the Disneyland Resort.
To take advantage of this perk, just schedule your drop off and pick up times with the front desk.
Proximity to Knott’s Berry Farm
No trip to Southern California is complete without a visit to Knott’s Berry Farm theme park.
Fortunately, staying at Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel puts you right in the middle of the action.
It is an easy five minute walk from the hotel to the entrance gate of the park. Check out my tips and video for taking kids to Knott’s Berry Farm here!
The hotel’s proximity to the park is convenient if you want to take a mid-day nap or if you want to have dinner at Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant. Some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had!
On-Site Restaurant
Speaking of food, the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel has a full service restaurant right on site called, Amber Waves Restaurant and Bar.
Amber Waves offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner conveniently located in the main lobby of the hotel.
Breakfast
On our visit, we were treated to the breakfast buffet before our day at Knott’s Berry Farm theme park, and it was delicious!
They offered a variety of both warm and cold breakfast items.
There was a yogurt station complete with assorted toppings. There were also yummy pastries and a few different cold cereals to choose from.
The buffet also included an entire table filled with hot items like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast, and biscuits and gravy.
Lunch & Dinner
One of the great advantages of eating at Amber Waves Restaurant is that kids under 11 eat free with a paying adult every day for lunch and dinner!
And Snoopy even makes an appearance to greet guests nightly from 6:00 – 6:30 and again from 7:00 – 7:30. He might even show up for breakfast! He did on our visit.
Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel Prices
In my opinion, the price of a stay at Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel is very reasonable, especially considering the amenities I spoke about above.
From what I saw, the price of a standard room that sleeps 4 is around $100 per night.
Of course, this price will go up if you are visiting during a peak time of the year. The price will also be affected by which room you choose for your family.

So, after experiencing all of the amenities at Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel, would I recommend this hotel?
The answer is, yes. I would definitely stay at Knott’s Berry Farm hotel again with my family. With all of the you receive for the price, this hotel is great!
If you’ll be visiting Knott’s Berry Farm theme park, especially for more than one day, than staying at Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel is a no-brainer for me.
