Why You’ll Love this Recipe

You’re going to love this Vanilla Glazed Fruit Salad because it takes all your favorite fresh fruits and makes them even better!

The creamy vanilla glaze brings everything together, adding just the right touch of sweetness to the juicy berries, kiwi, peaches, and pineapple. It’s the perfect mix of flavors and textures, super easy to throw together, and a guaranteed crowd-pleaser at any gathering.

Whether you’re serving it for breakfast, a picnic, or dessert, this fruit salad will be a hit every time!

Ingredients

  • Fresh Fruits: Strawberries, kiwi, and blueberries. This sweet side dish is versatile because you can choose your favorite fruits and are not limited to this list. I do not recommend using raspberries, as they are too soft and will crush when mixing the salad.
  • Canned Fruits: Choose your favorite canned fruits like fruit cocktail or other mixed fruit. For my fruity dessert, I used peaches, mandarin oranges, and maraschino cherries.
  • Crushed Pineapple: This will be used to moisten the vanilla pudding glaze. Do not drain the juice before adding to the salad.
  • Instant Pudding Mix: A small box of pudding will be sprinkled over the fruit and will become the vanilla glaze for this Jello fruit salad recipe.

How to Store Leftovers

To store your Vanilla Glazed Fruit Salad, transfer it to an airtight container and pop it in the fridge. It’ll stay fresh for about 2-3 days. Give it a gentle stir before serving to mix the glaze back in with the fruit juices. Keep in mind that the fruits might get a little softer over time, but the flavors will be even more delicious!

Helpful Tips

  • Cut the fruit into smaller pieces for that eye-catching look. A delicate chop lets every spoonful burst with a variety of flavors.
  • Opt for a large bowl to mix your ingredients with ease, turning the chore of stirring into a breeze.
  • Select the freshest fruits your local grocer has to offer. The quality of your ingredients directly influences the final taste of your salad.
  • Drain your canned fruits thoroughly to keep excess liquid at bay, ensuring your salad remains delightfully light and fluffy.
  • Serve in a clear glass bowl for a stunning display. It’s not just about tasting great; it’s about looking great, too.
