How to Make Butterfinger Muddy Buddies
[Step 1] In a large microwave safe-bowl, combine the peanut butter, chocolate chips, and butter. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until the mixture is melted and smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract.
[Step 2] Add the cereal to the melted chocolate mixture and gently stir to coat evenly.
[Step 3] Add the crushed Butterfinger crumbs and toss to distribute throughout the mixture.
[Step 4] Add half of the powdered sugar and half of the coated cereal to a large ziplock bag and seal. Shake until the cereal pieces are fully covered in powdered sugar.
[Step 5] Spread the muddy buddies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment papaer and allow to cool completely. Repeat with the other half of the cereal mixture. Store in an airtight container.
