- 8 Cups Rice Chex Cereal
- 1 ¼ Cups Creamy Peanut Butter
- 2 Cups Milk Chocolate Chips
- ¼ Cup Butter
- 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 1 ½ Cups Butterfinger Candy Bar Crumbs
- 2 ½ Cups Powdered Sugar
In a large microwave safe-bowl, combine the peanut butter, chocolate chips, and butter. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until the mixture is melted and smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Add the cereal to the melted chocolate mixture and gently stir to coat evenly.
Add the crushed Butterfinger crumbs and toss to distribute throughout the mixture.
Add half of the powdered sugar and half of the coated cereal to a large ziplock bag and seal. Shake until the cereal pieces are fully covered in powdered sugar.
Spread the muddy buddies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment papaer and allow to cool completely. Repeat with the other half of the cereal mixture. Store in an airtight container.
