Ingredients

  • 8 Cups Rice Chex Cereal
  • 1 ¼ Cups Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 2 Cups Milk Chocolate Chips
  • ¼ Cup Butter
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1 ½ Cups Butterfinger Candy Bar Crumbs
  • 2 ½ Cups Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  • In a large microwave safe-bowl, combine the peanut butter, chocolate chips, and butter. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until the mixture is melted and smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Add the cereal to the melted chocolate mixture and gently stir to coat evenly.
  • Add the crushed Butterfinger crumbs and toss to distribute throughout the mixture.
  • Add half of the powdered sugar and half of the coated cereal to a large ziplock bag and seal. Shake until the cereal pieces are fully covered in powdered sugar.
  • Spread the muddy buddies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment papaer and allow to cool completely. Repeat with the other half of the cereal mixture. Store in an airtight container.
