In a 9-inch baking dish, heat the cream cheese for about one minute to soften the cream cheese.
Stir in the ranch dip mix and shredded rotisserie chicken, sour cream, cooked bacon, scallions, black pepper, and one cup of shredded cheese.
Top the cream cheese mixture with the remaining ¾ cup shredded cheese and bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes until the edges begin to bubble.
Turn on the broiler for 3-5 minutes until the top cheese layer begins to turn golden brown.
Garnish the top with additional bacon and green onions before serving warm with crackers, pita chips, or tortilla chips.
