Ingredients

  • 1 pound bulk pork sausage
  • 1 tube 8 ounces refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 Cups Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ Teaspoon Pepper
  • Hot Sauce if desired

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, brown  sausage over medium heat for 5-8 minutes or until no longer pink. Blot with a paper towel to absorb any excess oil.
  • Unroll the crescent dough sheet in a 9x13 casserole dish greased with non-stick cooking spray. Pinch the seams together to create one large sheet. Sprinkle with cooked sausage and cheddar cheese.
  • In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, salt, pepper and hot sauce, if desired. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and cheese.
  • Bake the casserole at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean and the top begins to turn golden brown. Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving.
