Salted Caramel Chocolate Ganache

A super easy, rich Chocolate Ganache Recipe with Salted Caramel. Made in the microwave in minutes! Use it as a cake filling, ganache frosting, whipped, as a glaze, a dip or an ice cream topping. The possibilities are endless!

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Cup Heavy Cream
  • ¼ Cup Caramel Ice Cream Topping
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  • Put the chocolate chips and heavy cream in a microwave safe bowl.
  • Microwave on 50% power for 1 Minute. Stir.
  • Continue to microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between, until melted.
  • Stir in the Caramel and Salt.
  • Allow to cool until it reaches your desired thickness.

Ganache Frosting

  • Refrigerate the ganache until it is thicker than pudding.
  • Add the thickened ganache to the bowl of a stand mixer and whip until it is light and fluffy.
  • Add the frosting to a piping bag or use it to frost a cake.
