Begin by melting 9-12 ounces of milk chocolate (Hershey Bar or chocolate chips) in a microwave-safe bowl at 50% power, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth and creamy. (Reserve one rectangle of the chocolate bar to make chocolate curls for the top of the pie.
In a medium bowl, gently fold the thawed Cool Whip into the melted chocolate until fully incorporated.
