Ingredients

Apple Fritters

  • 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 ½ Teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ¼ Teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ Cup Milk
  • 2 Large Apples peeled and chopped
  • 2 Cups Oil for frying

Glaze

  • 2 Cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 4-6 Tablespoons Milk

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until moistened. Stir in the chopped apples.
  • Heat the oil over medium-high heat. Use a 1 tablespoon cookie scoop to form the mini fritters and drop into the hot oil. Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until the fritters are golden brown. Remove and allow to drain on a paper towel.
  • Glaze: Whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Dip the mini apple fritters in the glaze and coat completely. Place on a baking sheet or cooling rack until ready to serve.
