Ingredients

Apple Cider Vinaigrette

  • 6 Tablespoons Oil Canola or Vegetable
  • 2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste

Honeycrisp Harvest Salad

  • 1 Head Romaine Lettuce
  • 1 Large Honeycrisp Apple
  • Bacon Pieces
  • Dried Cranberries
  • Bleu Cheese crumbles
  • Pecan Halves

Instructions

Apple Cider Vinaigrette

  • Whisk or blend all ingredients together.
  • Chill until ready to use.

Honeycrisp Apple Salad

  • Chop the lettuce, then rinse and dry.
  • Peel the apple and cut into bite-size pieces.
  • Place the chopped lettuce in a large bowl with a lid. Pour half of the dressing over the lettuce. Place the lid on the bowl, and shake to toss. Divide the lettuce between four individual bowls.
  • Top the lettuce with the chopped apple, bleu cheese, dried cranberries, crumbled bacon, and pecans. Drizzles the remaining dressing over the salad. Serve.
