  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt
  • 2-3 Ripe Bananas mashed

Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 4 Ounces Cream Cheese softened
  • ½ Cup Butter softened
  • 1 ½ Teaspoons Vanilla
  • 2 Cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1-2 Tablespoon Milk

Instructions

Banana Bars

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat the eggs in, one at a time, then mix in the sour cream and vanilla.

Cream Cheese Frosting

  • Beat the softened cream cheese and butter in a stand mixer or with a hand mixer for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the powdered sugar and vanilla and beat for another 1-2 minutes, until smooth.
  • Spread the frosting over the cooled banana bars, then refrigerate for 15-20 minutes before cutting into squares.
