Ingredients

  • 16 Ounces Baby Carrots
  • Cup Brown Sugar
  • ¼ Cup Butter
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  • Start by peeling and cutting the carrots into thirds if using standard carrots. If using baby carrots, you can leave them whole.
  • Add the carrots to a large pot of boiling water and cook for 3-4 minutes until they are slightly softened. Drain the carrots.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter with the brown sugar and salt and bring it to a boil.
  • Add the carrots to the brown sugar mixture and cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring often.
  • Serve immediately, or transfer to a baking dish and keep warm in an oven set to 200 degrees.
