Ingredients

  • 1 12 ounce Box of Spaghetti Noodles
  • 1 Cup Butter
  • ¾ Pound Mizithra Cheese

Instructions

  • Boil water in a large stock pot.
  • Follow the directions on the box to prepare your spaghetti noodles to your liking.
  • While the pasta is cooking, begin to brown the butter in a saucepan.
  • Melt the butter over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the butter is a rich, caramel color.
  • Strain the butter through a mesh strainer to remove the milk solids and allow the butter to cool in a bowl.
  • Drain the spaghetti noodles in a colander to remove the water.
  • Add the spaghetti to a large serving bowl, sprinkle ¾ of the cheese and ¾ of the butter over the top.
  • Toss the spaghetti to coat with the butter sauce.
  • Top the noodles with the remainder of the cheese and butter.
  • Serve!

Notes

Shredded Romano or Parmesan cheese can be substituted for Mizithra cheese.
