Red Velvet Cupcakes

A decadent red velvet cupcake, filled and topped with homemade cheesecake, fluffy vanilla buttercream, toffee bits and drizzled with melted chocolate.

Ingredients

You will need a cake mix, milk, butter, eggs, cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, powdered sugar, toffee bits, and chocolate chips.

Step one:

Prepare the red velvet cupcake batter by mixing the cake mix with a few secret ingredients to get dense, bakery-style cupcakes.

Step two:

Divide the batter into baking cups and bake the cupcakes at 325 for 14-15 minutes. Allow the cupcakes to cool on a wire rack. Remove the center of each cupcake.

Step three:

Mix and bake the cheesecake ingredients. Allow it to cool, then mix with a hand mixer and add to a piping bag and pipe into the center of each cupcake.

Step four:

Mix the frosting ingredients together until you get the right consistency. Pipe the frosting on top of the cupcakes around the cheesecake filling.

Step five:
