Gather the Ingredients

For Mississippi Pot Roast you will need a beef chuck roast, ranch dressing mix, brown gravy mix, pepperocinis, and butter.

Sear the Meat

Place roast in the slow cooker. (If desired, you can sear the sides of the roast in a hot skillet on the stove before adding to the crockpot.)

Add Seasonings

Sprinkle the ranch seasoning and gravy packet over the roast, then add the peperocinis. Place the butter on top and cover the slow cooker with a lid.

Cook the Roast

Cook the roast on low for 8-10 hours or high for 6-7 hours. After cooking, remove meat and shred with two forks, removing any fatty pieces.

Serve Your Roast!

Return the shredded meat back to the slow cooker and stir to coat with the remaining sauce. Serve with your favorite side dishes!
