Cupcake Ingredients

You will need flour, sugar, butter, baking powder, salt, vanilla, eggs, buttermilk, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, coconut, food coloring, and candy eggs.

Step One:

Combine the cupcake dry ingredients and wet ingredients in separate bowls, then mix together with the buttermilk to create vanilla cupcake batter.

Step two:

Add cupcake liners to a muffin pan and divide the batter between 12 cupcakes. Bake the cupcakes for 20-23 minutes, then remove and allow to cool completely.

Step Three:

While the cupcakes cool, make the frosting by beating the butter, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and milk. Whip until light and fluffy. Add to a piping bag.

Step Four:

Pour a tablespoon of water and two drops of green food coloring to a container with a lid, like a mason jar. Add the coconut and shake until the coconut is all green.

Step five:

Spread a thin layer of chocolate frosting on top of the cupcakes, then cover with the green coconut to look like grass.

Step six:
