Chicken Ingredients

For the chicken you will need chicken, buttermilk, egg, flour, cornmeal, breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, pepper, and seasoned salt.


Marinate Chicken

Slice the chicken breasts into strips and place them in a ziplock bag along with the beaten egg and buttermilk. Marinate for 15-20 minutes.


Chicken Coating

Mix the flour, bread crumbs, cornmeal, paprika, garlic powder, pepper, and seasoned salt in another large ziplock bag.


Coat the Chicken

Drain the chicken strips and add them to the bag with the breadcrumb mixture. Shake to coat the chicken with the mixture.


Prepare the Pan

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Cut the butter and place it on the baking sheet. Put the baking sheet in the oven to melt the butter.


Bake the Chicken

Place the chicken strips on the baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Flip the chicken over and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the chicken is golden brown.


Pasta Ingredients

For the pasta you will need chicken broth, cream, bell pepper, onion, Cajun seasoning, garlic, red pepper flakes, butter, and bow tie pasta.


Chop Vegetables

While the chicken is cooking, chop the red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, and the onion into small pieces.


Cook the Vegetables

Melt butter in a large skillet and add the peppers and onions. Sauté until they are tender. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and cook one more minute.


Cream & Pasta

Add the chicken broth, whipping cream, Cajun seasoning and box of bow tie pasta to the pan of vegetables. Bring the mixture  to a boil.


Cook the Pasta

Turn the heat down to low-medium and cover. Let the pasta simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring often until the pasta is al dente.


Enjoy the Pasta!

When the pasta is tender and the sauce is the desired consistency, serve in a bowl topped with chicken. Sprinkle with shredded parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
