Blondies with Maple Butter

These homemade blondies taste just like the Sizzlin' Butter Pecan Blondie from Applebee's with a warm Maple cream sauce.

Blondie Ingredients

For the blondies you will need flour, sugar, brown sugar, salt, baking powder, corn starch, butter, eggs, vanilla, and white chocolate chips.

Step One:

Prepare the dry ingredients by whisking the flour, salt, baking powder, and corn starch together in a large mixing bowl. Set aside.

Step Two:

Add the sugar to the butter and stir to combine. Then add the eggs, egg yolk, and vanilla. Stir until completely incorporated.

Step Three: 

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until completely combined being careful to not over mix. Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and pecans.

Step Four:

Spread the batter in a 9x13 baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Remove and allow to cool slightly the cut into bars.

Maple Sauce Ingredients

For the maple butter sauce you will need cream cheese, butter, sugar, brown sugar, maple syrup, chopped pecans. You will need ice cream as well.

Step Five:

Combine the butter, sugar, cream cheese, maple syrup, and brown sugar over medium heat until melted. Continue to cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes.

Assemble the Blondies

Place a warm blondie on a plate and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a drizzle of maple butter sauce, and chopped pecans. Tap below for the full recipe.
